TuLís
Tulís is an Autistic Swedish artist based in Byron Bay, Australia. She draws her inspiration from her own experiences as well as nature, music, Scandinavian sagas, ancient art findings and culture, amongst other things. Her earlier works was inspired by the feminine form, and a woman’s spiritual journey to remain in contact with the wild within, in a world of restrictions. Her work was exhibited in the Ballet academy Stockholm Sweden 2011.
In 2012 her work was exhibited in Warburton town, Victoria, Australia.
In her newest body of work she explores the concept of origin and the power of expression through colours, texture, and lines that leave the viewer free to explore and interpret. She recently had her painting “ Mitri” for viewing in the Abstract Expressionism exhibition at the Byron Bay Gallery March 2019.
Today apart from working as a visual artist, she is a co creator of the neo folk electronic music project called
“From Fire”, which has influences of her Scandinavian roots. “From Fire” will debut with an EP later this year 2020.

TEXTURE OF THE SOUL
The project "Texture Of The Soul" started year 2018 and marked a big change in my creative expression. Vivid colours and layers of texture became my language and guide as I was exploring the new emotional spectrum of the unspoken.

Project "ORIGIN"
"Uru"
The "Origin" project, started in 2019. In this project I explore the subtle and non subtle influence of ones origin and the mystery of the untold ancestral tales that still echoes through our DNA.
Here I introduce symbolism to the textured landscape.
